I was so Proud to have done your Stage Lighting at the ” Wayside Cheer Hotel ” in Guernsey on 8th. March 2014. What A Fantastic Night You were Absolutely Brilliant the Audience were 110o/o with you and was one of the Best nights ever !! Dear Terry, Over the past few weeks we have received many smashing comments from our friends and relatives who were with us for your performance at Jack Carter Pavilion  and we thought you might enjoy seeing them as much as we did.  We find them a great reminder of a fabulous night. The sight of many our friends holding their faces from having laughed so much, will live with us forever.  “Best night out in years”- was the way many people described the evening as they said goodnight to us. “We had a fantastic time.

Just to say that Geoff and I along with my sister and brother in law had the best night we have had in ages, they said it was worth coming all the way from Australia for the night’s entertainment.  Our faces ached from laughing so much. We had no idea prior to the evening of what to expect but just had a brilliant time – as did Terry Webster!!!  That made it all the better to see how much Terry cleary enjoyed performing.  And he is obviously a very talented individual.  Long may he perform. We had a fantastic time, and can’t wait for Val’s  50th? (19 Nov ’11) Even though we haven’t had an invite yet, we will just have to gate crash.  We think Terry is fantastic a little bit of what he’s on wouldn’t go amiss.  How does he do it and then to drive home? It’s a long time until he’s back down here. We could always get a bit of a crowd and go clubbing in Wakefield.  Don and I would be up for it?  (Don and Liz) Great night Saturday! Hi Terry I was lucky to be at your show last night that Bob and Val arranged for the Alex Field Fund. I want to congratulate you on your fabulous performance, it was entertainment at its highest, it was a “feel good” show full of laughter and superb vocals.  I have never danced so much and me poor feet are feeling it this morning, but it was well worth it.  I hope you do make it to Val’s birthday bash as I wouldnt mind a repeat of last night.  I also bought your CD which is brilliant. Without doubt the best show – and best value whatever the cost – we’ve ever had at the club.
None-stop energetic, brilliant entertainment with music we could dance and sing to (and that doesn’t apply to all ‘musicians’).

It’s 6.30 Sunday morning and as the events of last night were spinning in my mind I decided to get up.   Having had a sheltered life I wanted to know more  about Terry Webster, the guy who, in my opinion and those of my close friends, did such a fantastic job of entertaining all those at the club house last night.   A  Google search on the internet lead me to your email address and I thought it only appropriate that I should drop you a line of appreciation.   Terry, I’d no idea of what to expect when I booked to come along so much so that I nearly turned up dressed in my DJ.   Your show was brilliant.  Foot tapping music for oldies all the way though.   Please let me know when you are over from Wakefield and in this neck of the woods again.

We would all like to say what a great night every body had. Your music
and entertainment was spot on and everyone entered into the dancing and
had an exceptionally good time. This was in no small part to do with your
excellent entertainment. Every thank you letter we had said how good you
were and how you helped to make such a good evening. So thank you again
for input that resulted in an outstanding evening. It’s a pitty the
dancing had to stop at midnight because we could have gone on much longer.

Very, very, VERY many thanks for a superb evening on Sept 5 for our joint 40th.

We have never had entertainment and dancing so good at any ‘do’ we have been involved with.  The letters of thanks we have received from our friends are covered in superlatives and everyone thought it was at least one of the best parties they have ever been to.  They said you were superb, amazing, fantastic etc etc!!  Mascara was apparently running all over the place.  It was pretty obvious on the evening that everyone was thoroughly enjoying themselves – virtually everyone was dancing and the reaction during your ‘cabaret’ spot was great.

The reputation of the Smallwoods and the Lambournes has rocketed – ‘if they can organise a do like that then there’s no end to their capabilities’!!

Thank you very much for making the journey on such a rotten night.

I have thoroughly enjoyed many of your performances over the past 3 decades – in many formats including with your band Dictionary (at the Talk of the Town in Manchster), with your Mighty Juke Box Band ~(in Rochdale, Bradford and Blackpool), in the Rave On show (in Bradford and the Willows in Salford) and most recently solo at the Willows at a charity event.  I booked you and Dictionary in 1979 to appear in a pub in Blackburn for a private party – soon after your drummer’s wedding. You promised to do at at least an hour and in the end did 1 hour 20 minutes.  I even still have Rock with Laughter on tape.

You are Britains best comedy impressionist – far more talented than many more famous stars like Steve Cougan or Alsitair McGowan.

We saw you at Land Rover on Saturday – absolutely brilliant! The comments at half time were basically that people were not too bothered what the song/dance act was going to be like as they thought it had been worth the £10 just to have seen you

We go out every Saturday to lots of different clubs around Birmingham and see quite a few acts but we can honestly say yours was the funniest and original (not to mention clever) that we have seen for ages.

You will not remember but I asked you on the night if you had any “cards” so that we could pass them on – never mind, we can always direct them to your web site.

Keep up the good work  – in the meantime we will keep singing your praises in the other clubs and … you never know

Terry – what a fantastic night!

I had a wonderful time and you were amazing – again. You seem to get better every time I see you and last night you honoured me with a brilliant performance. I appreciate that you went into overtime and I am grateful. My guests had a great time and it was a joy to hear them commenting on how wonderful you were and to see them up and dancing right through your second set.

You worked so hard and you made my night so special.  You are incredibly talented Terry. Even though people who saw you for the first time said that you were fantastic, I sometimes feel that people don’t appreciate you enough and don’t realise how everything is recorded and done by yourself. Our friends from Bristol said that they were so glad that they’d come and couldn’t believe the quality of the entertainment.

You have a very special talent.
